Brown Sugar Cinnamon Poptart


Ingredients

 

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, room temp
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon Baker's Syrup
  • Oil or egg wash

Glaze

  • 6 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk of choice
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon Baker's Syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. powdered cinnamon

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F. Make filling by mixing together brown sugar, flour and Cinnamon Baker’s Syrup. Set aside. Roll out puff pastry and slice into even rectangles. Spread mixture on half of the pieces, leaving room on the edges. Brush those edges with oil or egg wash, then add remaining puff pastry pieces on top. Gently press edges with the back of a fork, then poke holes on top with a toothpick. Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool completely. 
  2. Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, Cinnamon Baker’s Syrup, and cinnamon to make the glaze. Spread on top of the poptarts and let set for at least one hour. Enjoy!
