Cherry Almond Tart
Ingredients
Crust:
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup fine almond flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 8 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 1 tbsp vanilla bean paste
- 2 tbsp water
Almond Franginpane:
- 1 1/4 cups fine almond flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 1 tsp Rising Star Vanilla Bean Paste
- 8 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups of cherries, whole and pitted
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
