Kitchen Sink Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 stick + 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp Rising Star Vanilla Extract
  • 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup pretzels, crushed
  • 1/2 cup potato chips, crushed
  • 1/2 cup each of butterscotch, semi sweet, and white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
  • Flaky sea salt, optional


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 °F
  2. In a stand mixer or mixing bowl, beat together butter and both sugars (2-3 minutes). Add egg and vanilla extract and beat until smooth. Add all the dry ingredients to the bowl and mix until almost combined.
  3. Add ALL the add in and gently fold in or mix on the lowest setting until combined.
  4. Scoop out 12 cookies using a large cookie scooper (roughly 1/4 cup per cookie).
  5. Bake on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for 16-18 minutes.
  6. Once removed from the oven, sprinkle flaky sea salt (if desired) and let cool on a baking sheet for 15 minutes before moving to a cooling rack to cool completely.
