Brown Butter Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients
Brown Butter Rolls:
- Brown 3 ¾ sticks of butter (425g) - let solidify then bring to room temperature
- 1 cup + 2 tbsp whole milk, warm 270ml
- 2 packets instant yeast 14g
- ⅓ cup white sugar 67g
- 4 - 4 ½ cups all purpose flour 500g
- 2 eggs, room temperature
- 2 tsp Rising Star cinnamon baker's syrup
- 1 tsp salt
- ¾ cup unsalted brown butter 170g
Filling:
- ¾ cup brown butter, room temperature 170g
- 1 cups light brown sugar 200g
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- ½ cup heavy cream, (for after second rise) 120ml
Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 6 ounces cream cheese, softened 170g
- 3 tbsp room temperature brown butter 45g
- 1 ¼-½ cup powdered sugar 180g
- 2 tsp cinnamon syrup
